Erin and Ben’s MV Skansonia Wedding was simply breathtaking. We are so excited to share the beautiful details of their wedding day. 

MV Skansonia is a Seattle premier wedding boat venue. This historic waterfront venue is permanently docked on North Lake Union. Overflowing with phenomenal views, romance, history, nautical decor, and spectacular views of Seattle’s skyline, this place is ideal for weddings and special events. Erin and Ben chose this magnificent boat venue to celebrate their big day. As Seattle Wedding photographers, we’ve captured many weddings aboard MV Skansonia as it is a highly desired venue in Seattle.

We started the day by photographing venue details, beautiful surroundings, and lovely getting-ready moments of the couple. Then, our photographers captured their special first-look moment at the bow of the boat. We loved watching Ben, eager and excited as he waited for his fiance to arrive. Erin looked so beautiful in her lace wedding dress from the highly rated bridal boutique, Honest in Ivory. Her stunning bouquet designed by Fern Hollow Florals perfectly completed her look.

Their ceremony was romantic, and the reception was lively. The evening consisted of toasts, celebrating with the couple, and food. Guests enjoyed their delicious spread and dessert. Everyone loved that the couple included Shug’s Soda Fountain, which is a popular ice cream shop located in the iconic Pike Place Market. This wedding was a true Seattle experience!
