1. Olympic National Park Elopement

An Olympic National Park elopement features the very best of the Pacific Northwest.

The park ranks as one of the most-visited national parks in the United States. You can easily understand why. Olympic National Park elopements include everything for a truly memorable day. You can tie the knot on Hurricane Ridge, perched at 5,000 feet among the soaring Olympic mountains. Or maybe you prefer a beach elopement? Yes, your elopement at Olympic National Park can be on the coast, too! Take your pick of popular PNW beaches for weddings: Ruby Beach, Salt Creek Beach, and many more. As Seattle elopement photographers, we know plenty of secret hidden gems along the Olympic Peninsula for couples portraits, romantic photos and first look photos. Looking for an engagement session? We're also engagement photographers!

The best part about eloping at Olympic National Park is the easy access. You can drive from mountains to waterfalls to ocean beaches to rainforests in two hours. Let's plan a full day adventure elopement together!

We can start with a first look at Madison Falls. It's secluded and majestic. According to Washington Trails Association, you can hike to the popular waterfall in less than one-tenth of a mile. You'll feel like you're in the rainforest. Take in the moss, greenery and old-growth trees. After the first look, we'll scramble down to the base of the waterfall. It's a great location for intimate elopement photos. They'll look so romantic! The waterfall is the perfect height and distance. As a result, you'll enjoy wonderful wedding photos with a beautiful waterfall in the distance. Plus, even if it's rainy, the canopy of trees near Madison Falls keeps everyone relatively dry.

After your first look photos, we'll drive to Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park for the elopement ceremony. You can pick your favorite viewpoint. The road to Hurricane Ridge features viewpoints and pulls-offs. They're quiet and calm. The best Seattle elopement photographers can capture the rolling hills and dramatic mountain peaks behind you while saying your vows.

After the elopement, we'll drive up to the Hurricane Ridge visitor center. Let's walk along the path and take couples portraits with the 5,000-foot snowcap peaks in the distance. We can also stroll along the meadows and see deer and goats! In summer, we can take pictures with wildflowers blooming. Now that's a special romantic elopement for sure!

2. Gold Creek Pond Elopement

A Gold Creek Pond elopement shows off Pacific Northwest beauty. This is also a wonderful location for engagement sessions and weddings. We listed Gold Creek Pond as one of the best places for engagement photos near Seattle.

You can drive to Gold Creek Pond in about 90 minutes from Seattle. Take Interstate 90 eastbound. The exit to the Gold Creek Pond trail is after Snoqualmie Pass.

Gold Creek Pond sits in a basin within the Cascade Mountains. You feel surrounded by jagged mountains and evergreen forests. You can set up your elopement site on the edge of the pond. Your elopement photographer will take fabulous photos from almost any angle. Plus, drone photography is allowed! Your wedding and ceremony guests can sit near the pond. There is a large picnic area with grass, picnic tables and flat ground. That's why Gold Creek Pond is a terrific choice for weddings and elopements with elderly guests or anyone needing a wheelchair. It's ADA accessible, according to WTA's fantastic hiking and adventure resource guide.

Gold Creek Pond elopements include much more than just the pond. Check out the Gold Creek Pond wedding photos from Jennifer and Mark's elopement. After the ceremony, we'll walk into the trees and forests for some couples portraits. The fir trees produce magical light. You'll look amazing! We will also wander to the creek and walk along the trail. Let's explore the surroundings. Let's celebrate your elopement with creative and artistic photography at a location that screams Pacific Northwest beauty.

Couples often ask if they need a special permit for a Gold Creek Pond elopement or wedding. No, you don't. Gold Creek Pond Trail is part of the Mount Baker Snoqualmie National Forest. You will need a parking pass. Your Northwest Forest Pass will work. In addition, you can also pay for a parking permit at the trailhead.

3. Alki Beach Elopement

An Alki Beach elopement earns a spot among our stunning elopement locations in Washington State. You and your elopement photographer in Seattle don't need to travel very far for a gorgeous ceremony.

Alki Beach is a Seattle city park. You'll need permits for elopements and weddings. Couples say they're easy to obtain. Alki Beach is located in West Seattle along Beach Drive. There are many access points. You can plan your elopement on a wooden pier, sandy beach or grassy field.

Your Alki Beach elopement photos include a sandy beach, twinkling city skyline and mountain ranges across Puget Sound. If you're lucky, you may also see a passing ferry, soaring Bald Eagles or seals! And, you never know, maybe an Orca or two will join the festivities for your special day.

Melissa and Ben celebrated their Seattle elopement on Luna Park at Alki Beach. They decorated the wooden pier with flower petals and chairs. Melissa's father walked her down the aisle. They hired a professional Seattle elopement photographer to be certain the moment would be captured with all its glory. We took stunning photos of the bride with the Seattle skyline in the distance.

After the ceremony, the couple rented a bicycle for some fun elopement photos at the beach! As a result, their photo gallery included formal pictures from the elopement and wedding ceremony along with casual pictures at a crowded Alki Beach. It's awesome to have the best of both worlds!

Your guests can take the King County Water Taxi to Alki Beach. According to travel websites, you can also take advantage of transportation to and from Alki Beach's restaurants, bars and nightlife.

4. Newcastle Golf Club Elopement

The best Seattle elopement photographers know where to take clients for stunning views. It's not quite an adventure elopement. Renton is only 15 minutes from Seattle. But you can't beat the glorious views from the Golf Club at Newcastle.

Couples love getting ready inside the golf club. It has spacious bridal getting ready rooms with abundant natural light. Pooja and Karthik held their marriage ceremony on the terrace overlooking the golf course with downtown Seattle in the distance. After the ceremony, the couple celebrated inside the Prestwick Terrace with music, dinner and dancing.

Pooja and Kathik's elopement was smaller than a typical wedding. They chose Newcastle Golf Club because of its elegant venue along with sweeping views of the city. Not every couple wants an adventure elopement in the mountains! We speak from experience when we say every couple does, however, want epic elopement photography.

Most Seattle elopement photographers realize Newcastle Golf Course boasts tremendous city views. But they don't walk very far on the green. As a result, their elopement photos look similar. Sound Originals wanted to be unique. We walked along the path to a grassy hill. It was a tad overgrown, which created glorious photography as the evening light slipped through the tall grass. Pooja and Karthik, now officially husband and wife, held hands and practiced their first dance. Their wedding photographer stayed a hundred yards away to zoom in. The couple's elopement photos captured their dancing with an illuminated Seattle city skyline in the distance. Your Newcastle Golf Club wedding can be as elegant or fancy as you like.

SEATTLE ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER'S ADVICE: Wait until golden hour for portraits at Newcastle Golf Club. In the summer, the sun will set directly behind the Olympic Mountains to the west. Watch the sunset from the golf club until the lighting is perfect for intimate elopement photos. It will take about 5 minutes to walk to the golf course.

5. Mount Rainier National Park Elopement

Towering over Western Washington, a Mount Rainier elopement captures the glorious grandeur of the Pacific Northwest.

Sissi and Billy celebrated their wedding at Mountain View Manor, a wedding venue known for its stunning views of Mount Rainier. That's why we planned an adventure elopement photography session for this happy couple. We drove to Paradise at Mount Rainier in the evening. Great elopement photographers understand the importance of light. Bold, beautiful and dramatic light turns regular images into extraordinary images.

Happily married now, this husband and wife enjoys a stunning collection of elopement photographs from the snow-capped Mount Rainier National Park.

6. Crystal Mountain Elopement

If you love views, it's hard to beat Crystal Mountain elopements and weddings. Crystal Mountain's summit restaurant and event space is perched thousands of feet above the valley below. Your guests enjoy a stunning view of Mount Rainier. Plus, it's an awesome ride up the gondola to the lookout!

Angeli and David said "I Do" from 6,872 feet! You can feel the alpine air. After getting married, they rode the famous gondola back down to the ski resort area with "Just Married" skis attach to the side of their gondola ride. It was wonderful!
