We absolutely love photographing weddings at The Ruins! It’s truly a unique place and Sabrina and Brian’s wedding there couldn’t have been a better venue to complement their wedding photos. The venue provided the gorgeous floral arrangements that accentuated the space. The bride wore a beautiful and classic wedding gown. The groom wore an amazing jacket with accents! All of their details really made photographing this wedding fun for us. We started our photos while both Sabrina and Brian were getting ready. Capturing their moments from Sabrina’s hair & makeup to Brian helping his father with his bowtie. And of course champagne was involved! They wrote their own vows and were married by Brian’s sister in front of a room full of family and friends.

The Ruins has soo many unique rooms and spaces to take photos. We chose to take some in front of a cozy fire in one of the beautifully decorated rooms as well as family and wedding party portraits in the foyer. The reception followed with a lot of speeches, dancing and amazing food by the venues in-house catering! We loved photographing all of the smiles and dance moves.

Located in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle, The Ruins is a perfect venue to celebrate your special day! The venue has four specially curated rooms to entertain your guests and space for up to 250 guests! They provide full service catering, event design and coordination. The Ruins recently added in-house productions to add to your wedding!
