We’re very excited to share Armon and Alexandria’s stunning Jefferson Street Mansion Wedding!

Evidently, the Jefferson Street Mansion is located in Benicia, CA. At just under an hour away from San Francisco, CA, it is relatively convenient to drive to this wedding destination. Historically, the mansion was built in 1861. This makes it a Civil War period mansion. Additionally, the architecture is Empire Style.  

Above all, the right wedding planners help ensure your ceremony is exactly how you dreamed it would be! Indeed, Armon and Alexandria chose Maricela, Margarita, & Taylor as their wedding planners. This trio coordinated every picture-perfect detail. From the moments leading up to the ceremony, to the walk down the aisle, and their beautiful reception- the lighting and decorations were immaculate!

As you can see, Alexandria wore a fitted champagne gown with an overlay of detailed beadwork. Notably, her dress came from David’s Bridal. While getting ready, she had her hair and makeup done by Nora Enayat. Alexandria debuted her wedding day look as she walked down the aisle. With her long wavy hair worn down and pinned back with a rhinestone clip, she looked like effortless beauty. 

Undeniably, their wedding day was full of aromatic flowers in splendid arrangements. Specifically, the bouquets and floral arrangements were handled by A Loves in Bloom. Uniquely, Alexandria’s bouquet featured succulents paired with cream and pink roses. Taking her place next to Armon at their altar, the couple had even more flowers surrounding them. At last, the newlyweds concluded their ceremony with a sand pour. 

Fortunately, the mansion offers on-site catering, so dinner was served by the team at Jefferson Street Mansion. However, their wedding cake was crafted by the Old Towne Danville Bakery. Clearly their massive three-tiered cake, decorated with real white and pink roses, was big enough to serve their sizable party of wedding guests. Later on, when it was time to get everyone out on the dance floor, their DJ from iMobile DJ’s cranked up the tunes!

Jefferson Street Mansion History

Firstly, the Jefferson Street Mansion was originally called The Executive Officer’s Quarters. This was due in large part of its military origins. Moreover, this mansion is located on the Historic Benicia Arsenal. Specifically, it is part of a large military reservation that served as the primary US Army Ordnance facility for the West Coast. Later, the arsenal closed in the 1960’s. Further down the line, the mansion became an office building. 

Finally, in the late 1990’s it was purchased by an individual who would turn it into an event venue. Through the rich history of the mansion, the space has received awards. Notably, the California Heritage Council awarded the mansion a Historic Preservation Award. Undoubtedly, this wedding venue is a great fit for anyone looking for that luxe look!

Nearly forty couples have reviewed the mansion on The Knot and there is also a breakdown of the amenities and details.
