Hornblower Cruises Wedding // Merika + Esther

Weddings

We’re very excited to share Merika and Esther’s at-sea Hornblower Cruises Wedding!

First off, Hornblower Cruises is a San Francisco, CA based charter yacht and also provides dining cruises. Aboard the Hornblower yacht, you can throw a wedding, reception, or other wedding-related event. Specifically, the yacht has both indoor and outdoor spaces, which provided the brides and their wedding guests with different spaces to explore and celebrate. Their wedding planner, Aokash Chand, ensured that their special day was exactly how these brides had pictured it. Their featured color was red.

Both of the brides wore red on their wedding day! Specifically, as they got ready for their ceremony, their hair was done by LocsbyErika. Their wedding day makeup was by Alicia Lau of LeeCe Stylz. Each of the brides had a special makeup look for their wedding day. One look featured red eyeliner and glistening gemstones around her eyes. Her hair was tied up in an elegant bun with light blue pearls. The other bride wore red eyeshadow, a bright red lip, and paired her look with red earrings and a red bowtie.

A bespoke bridal suit came from Klein, Epstein, Parker. Previously, this company offers ready-to-wear and custom suits, and the company has been featured on RuPaul’s Drag Race. A gorgeous bridal corset came from Dark Garden. Overall, this company has been handcrafting modern corsetry since 1989. Alongside her corset, she held a red bouquet. Their floral arrangements were by Mari Rose.

Their walk down the aisle was on a red carpet. Keeping with the nautical and laid-back vibe of their wedding, they both went barefoot on their red carpet walk. Moreover, their manicures and pedicures were done with red nail polish. During their ceremony, they did a red, black, and white sand pouring into a heart shaped bottle. And after they said their “I do’s” they jumped over the broomstick together.

After their ceremony, it was time for the reception. Hornblower was their caterer and their wedding party had a delicious buffet. However, their desserts came from Timeless Bakery in Oakland, CA. Markedly, this bakery is fully plant-based, making it a great option for vegans. Throughout the reception their were toasts, smiles, and laughter.

Emphatically, the brides decided that two cakes was better than one! There was a two-tiered chocolate cake and a two-tiered white cake. Correspondingly, both of the cakes were decorated with classy gold leafing. After their ceremony and reception, these two left in a white stretch limousine!

Our team at Sound Originals was honored to be a part of Merika & Esther’s wedding. Please enjoy their photos!
