We’re very excited to share Shelby and Drew’s forested Deer Park Villa Wedding!

To begin, Deer Park Villa is located in Fairfax, CA. Additionally, Fairfax, CA is about a fifty minute drive north of San Francisco, CA. After booking their wedding venue, Shelby and Drew sent out wedding invitations that they made themselves. Of course, their wedding planner, Erin Meadows, handled many of the small details that made up their big wedding day! 

Initially, Shelby chose a wedding dress from Anthropologie’s BHLDN line. As you can see, it was an elegant and simple white satin gown. Pace Huang crafted Shelby’s hair and makeup for a chic wedding-day look. Shelby’s vibrant bouquet and beautiful floral arrangements were crafted by Janet Power. Interestingly, her bouquet featured fuchsia and orange flowers with other springs of red, blue, and green foliage. 

Drew wore a royal blue suit with a light blue tie and a boutonniere featuring a bright orange flower. He completed his look with dark tan shoes. Later, he walked arm-in-arm with his parents to the wedding altar, where Shelby joined him.

Nestled between two massive redwood trees, the couple exchanged vows and rings, sealing their union with a kiss as newlyweds. Guests enjoyed a meal catered by California Rose at the outdoor reception, which was beautifully styled with candlelight.

A special touch at the wedding included lifesize cutouts of the bride and groom as children, bringing laughter and joy to everyone. Guests also had fun in an arcade room, playing games together after the ceremony.

Throughout the night, everyone partied to musical stylings of The Lucky Devils wedding band. On the outdoor cobbled dance floor, Shelby and Drew shared their first dance together. In the end they cut their red velvet cake. During the final moments of the night, their friends and family lit sparklers, creating a special departure for the pair’s exit!
