Abernathy Center is a premier wedding venue in Oregon City, OR. The stunning venue features two lovely gardens (Abigail’s Garden and Veiled Garden), the classic Abernathy Chapel, and also an elegant ballroom that offers beautiful settings for your special celebration. As Portland Wedding photographers, we had an opportunity to photograph many gorgeous weddings at this stunning Portland wedding venue. We love the Abernathy Center due to its beauty, exceptional amenities, well-curated event spaces, and fantastic catering. Anna and Joseph had a beautiful wedding ceremony at Abigail’s Garden, followed by an elegant reception at the tent. Abigail’s Garden was a perfect location for their fun-filled summer wedding.

Anna and Joseph, a sweet couple, were a match made in heaven. Anna looked stunning in her vintage romantic dress by Crown Bridal. Getting-ready moments captured her gorgeous blonde hair styled by Brook Munson and natural-look makeup. Dapper in a royal blue suit, Joseph joined Anna for heartfelt first-look moments. Charming venue locations, countless couple portraits against lush PNW backgrounds, and epic shots of the full wedding party.

Creative Yard Expressions excelled in florals. Anna and Joseph exchanged vows beneath a white gazebo by a 20-year-old willow tree. After the ceremony, their romantic first dance took place in a tent with a wooden dance floor. The dinner prepared by Abernathy Center’s exceptional catering team was mouthwatering. Also, the delightful cake by Delectable Designs was top-notch. 

The team of Noteworthy DJs and Photo Booths brought the party with dance lighting and exciting music, which kept everyone on the dance floor. Lively dancing radiated joy. As the party ended, friends and family grabbed balloons to send off the newlyweds, with thanks to coordinator Lisa Marie for making their day perfect.

The Abernethy Center wedding costs range from $1,650 to $5,800, covering 5 event hours and 2 pre-event hours. However, a security deposit of $500 is required and a 22% service fee.
