Abernathy Center is a premier wedding venue in Oregon City, OR. The stunning venue features two lovely gardens (Abigail’s Garden and Veiled Garden), the classic Abernathy Chapel, and also an elegant ballroom that offers beautiful settings for your special celebration. As Portland Wedding photographers, we had an opportunity to photograph many gorgeous weddings at this stunning Portland wedding venue. We love the Abernathy Center due to its beauty, exceptional amenities, well-curated event spaces, and fantastic catering. Anna and Joseph had a beautiful wedding ceremony at Abigail’s Garden, followed by an elegant reception at the tent. Abigail’s Garden was a perfect location for their fun-filled summer wedding.

Anna and Joseph are the sweetest couple ever, a perfect match made in heaven. Anna looked like a stunning goddess in her vintage romantic dress by Crown Bridal. We captured getting-ready moments as her hair and makeup artist Brook Munson finished styling her gorgeous blonde hair along with natural-look makeup. Joseph also looked dapper in his classic royal blue suit. Once they were ready, we captured the most heartfelt first-look moments between Anna and her father, followed by Anna and Joseph. What we love most about the venue is that it has plenty of gorgeous photo locations. Our professional wedding photographers got countless portraits of a beautiful couple against lush PNW backgrounds of trees and ferns. After the couple’s portraits, we had a blast capturing epic photos of the full wedding party.

The team of Creative Yard Expressions did an outstanding job on florals. Anna and Joseph’s wedding ceremony took place in front of a lovely white gazebo below a 20-year-old willow tree. So our adorable couple exchanged their vows and sealed the ceremony with a kiss. Following the wedding ceremony, Anna and Joseph signed the marriage license, and we took some great family photos. Afterward, everyone walked towards the reception tent, featuring a wooden dance floor and classic decor. The newlyweds made their entrance and spun into a romantic first dance, including twirling dance moves. The dinner prepared by Abernathy Center’s exceptional catering team was mouthwatering. Also, the delightful cake by Delectable Designs was top-notch. 

The team of Noteworthy DJs and Photo Booths brought the party with dance lighting and exciting music, which kept everyone on the dance floor. The dancing was off the hook, and everyone radiated joy and excitement. As the party ends, the lovely friends and family grab the balloons to send off the newlyweds, wishing them happiness on their next adventure. Lastly, a special shout-out to their wedding coordinator Lisa Marie for making their day perfect and memorable.

The Abernethy Center wedding costs range from $1,650 to $5,800, covering 5 event hours and 2 pre-event hours. However, a security deposit of $500 is required and a 22% service fee.
