Capturing Thomas and Jamie’s Mt. Tabor engagement photos was a literal walk in the park! This city park was the perfect woodland setting for a fairytale romance. The newly engaged couple celebrated each other with this photoshoot and we were so happy to be a part of it. Mt. Tabor is covered in natural stunning photo backdrops, so this was a dream come true for us!

We trailed along some of the most beautiful spots, which were aplenty. Did you know that Portland is actually home to more than 200 parks? And Mt. Tabor is the only one built on top of a volcano? In fact, volcanic cinders were actually used to pave the park’s pathways. 

As we walked along the park trails, we loved how Jamie and Thomas engaged with each other so effortlessly. Our professional photographer captured beautiful candids of them simply looking into each other’s eyes and it was beautiful. The dramatic nature-filled backgrounds complemented the pictures so well.

A little bit of rain later gave us another photo opportunity where we got the couple cozy under the umbrella. This added to the romance of the pictures. We chose a rustic style of photography for this shoot. The deep greens and somber sky boded well for this style.

We can’t wait for you to see how the pictures turned out. We’re so happy for Jamie and Thomas. Their engagement and this special celebration will be one they’ll never forget. We wish them all the very best for a beautiful journey ahead. May their relationship continue to blossom through rain and sunshine.
