We’re very excited to share Liv & Emily’s industrial WithinSODO Wedding!

Firstly, WithinSODO is a popular wedding venue in the SODO neighborhood of Seattle. As expected, many weddings have been hosted by this venue. After the brides decided on their wedding venue, it was time to inform their guests. Initially, Liv and Emily notified their guests with invitations from Minted. 

Next, the pair had to choose their unique wedding gowns. In detail, Emily’s dress was from David’s Bridal. Correspondingly, Liv’s dress was from Confete. Together, they chose gorgeous and unique wedding rings. While getting ready, both of the brides had their wedding day makeup done by Bethany Yackel. Also, their hairstylist, Kaytie, was booked through Bethany Yackel Beauty. 

Specifically, Britta Jackson of Britta’s Brides ensured that these two brides had the wedding day of their dreams. There were many unique details of the couple’s lives together. Additionally, there was a wall of caricatures and drawings of the couple from every year of their partnership. During the evening, guests were encouraged to take a polaroid picture for the guestbook. 

Finally, it was time to begin their ceremony. During their walk down the aisle, friends of the couple played cello and violin. As they walked to their altar, the brides carried bouquets from Flora D’Amore. While reading their vows they shared smiles and laughter. Then they exchanged rings. Lastly, the brides shared a kiss and stepped on a glass and broke it together. 

Afterwards, it was time for their reception. Of note, Act 3 catered to provide the guests with a delicious meal celebrating the newlyweds. Interestingly, the desserts were provided by Emily’s mother. Later in the evening the newlyweds sliced into their beautiful layered one tier cake. Atop the cake was fluffy white icing and inside the cake was chocolate. 

At last, the happy couple shared their first dance together as wives. Next up, the brides sat in chairs and were lifted into the air for the horah! Similarly, the music was DJ’d by friends of the brides. Moreover, there was a caricature artist doing live drawings for the wedding guests!

Ideally, couples would take a tour to confirm the venue fits their needs. In addition to contacting WithinSODO, they have a FAQ page to help answer common questions. Here you can see their capacities, amenities, and guidelines. 

Secondly, Here Comes the Guide has an estimate of the cost of a wedding at WitinSODO. Specifically, they reference that it can start at $3,000 and up. Another website, Wedding Wire, has almost twenty reviews from couples that have used this venue for their big day. In total, WithinSODO has received 4.6 out of 5 stars.   

Foundry Wedding

Another popular venue in Seattle is The Fremont Foundry. As you can see, the Foundry is located in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. Similarly, you can book a tour of The Foundry. Again, this is a great way to determine if the venue is for you. Luckily, The Fremont Foundry has an extensive guide that lists their event pricing. Really the time of year and the day of the week are two factors that can really alter the price. 

Also, The Foundry has a Wedding Wire page. Here you can see about twenty reviews. In summary, the reviewers give The Foundry 4.9 out of 5 stars. However, this site lists the price range of $12,000-$16,000. Not to mention, Here Comes the Guide has videos of weddings here. They also have a breakdown of capacities.
