We are excited to share Cindy and Jerry’s beautiful WithinSodo Wedding.

WithinSodo wedding venue is a flexible event space perfect for small or large weddings. Their 3,000 square foot rooftop deck with wood awning provides stunning views of the Seattle skyline. Inside, they have four configurable rooms that can host up to 450 guests at a time. With such versatility, you can have your ceremony outside, overlooking Seattle, or inside against the stunning whitewashed brick. The Ballroom, Lounge, Gallery, and Mirror Room all have their own unique design with a common rustic, natural theme to keep everything cohesive. Their onsite parlor and caterer’s kitchen will make your cocktail hour and reception run smoothly and stress-free. 

Sound Originals started the day by photographing the beautiful floral arrangements, stunning rings, and many other amazing details of this wedding. Then, we found Cindy getting their three dogs ready for the big day. She was stunning in her gorgeous lace wedding gown and fabulous hair and makeup done by Kurumi Schultz. Once everyone was picture-perfect, it was time for the first look. Cindy excitedly met Jerry on the rooftop deck next to the outdoor fireplace. After a few precious moments together, it was time to begin their couple portraits. Their three dogs periodically joined the photo session, making this day even more enjoyable. Then, it was time for the ceremony.

Cindy and Jerry said their “I dos” in the perfectly lit Gallery. Once they sealed their vows with a kiss, it was time for the reception. Everyone enjoyed the mouthwatering Wood Shop BBQ food truck and delicious 85°C Bakery Café’s cakes and cookies. Then, DJ Halo from Magnolia Rhapsody got the party started. The newlyweds and their guests had a blast dancing into the night. Mary Barrett at Mardee’s Design and Consulting did a wonderful job helping the couple plan this fabulous day.

WithinSodo FAQ 

WithinSodo is a great wedding and event space for up to 625 people. Upstairs can hold 175 guests, while downstairs can hold 450. The Rooftop Deck has a few spaces, which include a fully-enclosed second bar, a covered area with a fireplace, and a fully-exposed outdoor deck. The Ballroom, perfect for larger weddings, consists of the catering kitchen, bar window, and restroom. The Lounge serves as the bridal suite during weddings. The Gallery and Mirror Rooms, ideal for smaller weddings, connect with a large sliding barn door. Finally, The Parlor is a large built-in bar serving as a great place to greet guests and host your cocktail hour. This venue provides light seating on The Rooftop Deck and in The Parlor.
