Let’s get into Erin and Matthew’s special day! Rather than take getting ready photos, Erin & Matthew opted to have our photographer start with their first look. From that moment on, the smiles never left their faces. Following the first look, they had a fun photo session with their wedding party before transitioning to their romantic ceremony. The space they chose for their wedding is very versatile and was setup for both the ceremony and reception. As a result, the transition to the reception was smooth and easy. The planning, coordination, and floral design was all expertly handled by the amazing Finnavair at Finn Events! Finnavair went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was perfect and that the event was a huge success. We highly recommend their services!

Wisteria Hall doesn’t have just one venue in Washington Park Arboretum, there’s multiple! This venue offers two outdoor patios, one indoor reception hall, a small kitchen space, and a changing area. There is also a space for setting up an outdoor tent. If you have a larger guest count, consider The Center for Urban Horticulture for your wedding. Parsons Gardens Wedding

If an intimate elopement is more your style, consider the beautiful Parsons Gardens for your ceremony! Seattle parks are also an affordable option if your budget is more limited. Wisteria Hall Wedding Cost

When you’re planning your wedding, often the biggest investment is the venue. Wisteria Hall includes the assistance of an event coordinator with all of their bookings. Included in the cost as well is equipment rental and setup. They don’t currently have a price list on their website, but Wedding Spot lists the 2020 rental cost at $3,200. The University of Washington has several different spaces that can host your wedding. If you’ve chosen the campus as your preferred wedding venue, the best place to start is their Event Resources page! Here you’ll find not only information about their venues, but also recommended hotels, preferred vendors, transportation information, and even planning checklists. There are several different indoor and outdoor options available. Either way, you’ll have 230 acres of lush greenery and beautiful flowers as a backdrop to your special day. Husky Stadium Wedding

So you and your partner met at UW and now you’ve found your tailgate mate for life? What better way to honor your union than to get married right at Husky Stadium! The stadium has 7 different venues, the largest of which can host 800 guests. This venue is also perfect for the on the go bride, as they handle all of the setup of tables and chairs and has on-site catering. Did we mention the stadium has some of the best views of Lake Washington and Mount Rainier?

Arboretum Room Rental

We wouldn’t have such beautiful green spaces in Washington without the infamous rain. But that doesn’t always fit the wedding you’re imagining. Washington Park Arboretum also offers indoor spaces! Merrill Commons is a stunning glass-enclosed atrium space, much like the greenhouse weddings you’ve been seeing on Pinterest. But don’t think this venue is for rainy days only. There is also adjacent McVey Courtyard that’s perfect for your ceremony or cocktail hour. There is also NHS Hall, a more traditional event venue but still very beautiful. Whether you have 20 guests or 200, there’s a venue for you at the University of Washington!
