RJ and Ka’Laybria’s The Longbranch Improvement Club Wedding was a beautiful and romantic affair!

The Longbranch Improvement Club is a non-profit organization that aims to foster a sense of community. It is an excellent location for weddings, musical events, memorials, and other events. The LIC has a beautiful historic clubhouse that is perfect for indoor weddings and other events. With a capacity for up to 300 guests, The Longbranch Clubhouse features old-fashioned rustic charm. Additionally, there are well-kept grounds for ceremonies, outdoor games, and other events. 

RJ and Ka’Laybria chose this unique location to tie the knot. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the uniquely romantic setting on the club ground beyond the Clubhouse. In the presence of their loved ones, the duo said their “I dos,” exchanged the rings, and shared a kiss to end the ceremony. The Clubhouse has a grassy field that borders a 7-acre forest. Our wedding photographers skillfully captured the bride and groom’s portraits against the scenic backdrops of the forest and field. RJ and Ka’Laybria are the sweetest couple. They both looked so adorable and perfect together. Ka’Laybria looked gorgeous in her elegant bridal gown. On the other hand, our groom RJ looked ethereal in his Army uniform.

Following the lovely ceremony and portraits, the newlyweds made an entrance to the Clubhouse for the wedding reception. The reception was super chic in the rustic and charming ambiance of the Clubhouse. All the guests enjoyed the amazing food catered by Olive Garden in Silverdale. Also, the wedding cake made by Makenna Conner was a hit. After enjoying this delightful treat, the duo came to the dance floor for the romantic first dance, followed by the party. No celebration is complete without great music. DJ Mark from Mixology Entertainment lit up the dance floor and ensured a celebration full of fun and endless dancing.

The Longbranch Improvement Club Wedding Photos

Long branch Clubhouse

The Longbranch Improvement Club had a historic rustic building, The Longbranch Clubhouse. The Clubhouse features stone walls, antique oak flooring, and soaring three-story cedar ceilings. The building has a unique old-fashioned charm providing a classic ambiance for your celebration. There is a raised stage with lighting at one end of the Ballroom. On the stage’s opposite side, doors lead to the vast foyer, which can be used as a separate meeting room. 

The Ballroom has a meeting capacity of 300 people, and the foyer has a capacity of up to 50 people. In addition, there are well-maintained outdoor grounds perfect for outdoor events, games, and photography. While renting the long branch clubhouse, you will get access to Ballroom, foyer, outdoor grounds, and centennial garden. The rental fee for all facilities and grounds is $100 for 3 hours and $1,500 for a full day from 8 am-11 pm.

Longbranch Improvement Club Membership

Club members provide fellowship and community support. For membership, members need to maintain residence in the South Key Peninsula. By purchasing a membership, you’ll be eligible for clubhouse rentals and reduced-rate permanent moorage. The membership fee is $25 annually for a single person and $40 for a family. However, associate members will pay dues of $25 per year and have no residency requirement.

Longbranch Improvement Club Membership offers several benefits to members, including invitations to all club events such as opening day dock breakfast, dessert buffets, Christmas party, ten potluck dinners, and summer barbecue. The monthly membership meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at the Clubhouse at 6:30 pm.
