The Kelley Farm Wedding // Devin + Emily

Weddings

We’re very excited to share Devin and Emily’s charming and rustic The Kelley Farm wedding!

The Kelley Farm is located in Bonney Lake, WA, which is about an hour South of Seattle. The Kelley Farmhouse was a wedding gift in 1907 and today the barn continues to be a part of many couples’ love stories, like Devin and Emily’s wedding day. The Kelley Farm boasts rustic-glam charm, and you can see in our photo gallery just how apt that statement is. Inside the barn, the beautiful stained wooden interior serves as a warm and rich backdrop. Outside of the barn, the greenery and foliage of the grounds are perfectly maintained for photo opportunities. A very cool feature outside is a larger-than-life wooden picture frame that guests can pose in front of for a perfectly framed photo.

Emily’s bouquet was gorgeous shades of red, burnt orange, and dusty pink and was filled with roses, dahlias, and lilies. Her dress featured creme lace detailing and a long train for her walk down the aisle. As she walked down the aisle, the polished floor beneath her reflected the warm glow from the chandeliers above. Devin’s black suit, suspenders, and bowtie had satin detailing that added extra shine to his wedding look. The two had their first look at each other under a beautiful outdoor pergola. Keeping with the color scheme, the bridesmaids wore dresses in a burnt orange shade as well. When it was time for the walk down the aisle, the young ring bearer wore a sheriff’s badge that appointed him as the ring bearer. The little flower girl wore a magical flower crown and a long tulle skirt.

Devin and Emily were all smiles at their altar. After they shared their first kiss as husband and wife, they walked down the aisle hand-in-hand. Devin surprised Emily by dipping her back for another kiss! When it was time for the reception, the groomsmen kicked off the party by shotgunning some Coors Light beers. Emily slipped into her next wedding day look, a white satin jumpsuit! Guests got to enjoy a pizza bar for dinner and for dessert there was a donut wall. Then the bride and groom cut their wedding cake together. Their cake was a simple and elegant single tiered cake with white icing. After the cake was cut, Devin and Emily had their first dance before their guests joined them for dancing into the night.

Once the sun had set, Emily and Devin got to do one more special walk through an aisle way formed by their guests. Each of their guests had a small bottle of bubbles and they blew enough bubbles to surround the two with effervescence. The wedding party returned inside one more time for a little more dancing, this time forming a conga line! It is always hard for the party to come to an end on such a magical and special day. Our team at Sound Originals loved being there to capture all the fun and excitement of Emily and Devin’s wedding day. Please enjoy their photos!
