We’re very excited to share Megan and Joseph’s chic The Edgewater Hotel Wedding!

First off, The Edgewater Hotel is a stunning venue for weddings and receptions. Additionally, the Edgewater is the only over-water hotel in Seattle. Specifically, this hotel received a Travel & Leisure “World’s Best Award” in 2022. In detail, Megan and Joseph worked with their wedding planner, Emily Olsoy, to achieve their dream wedding. Moreover, Emily Olsoy works for the company, Your Perfect Bridesmaid. 

Initially, Megan and Joseph sent out invitations from Minted. Next up, was the hunt for the perfect wedding dress. Finally, Megan found her perfect wedding gown at Blue Sky Bridal. Interestingly, Blue Sky Bridal is an eco-boutique in Seattle that offers new, sample, and consigned wedding dresses. In addition, Megan’s dress had a plunging neckline, a lacey bodice, and the lace design trickled down the flowing tulle. Furthermore, while Megan was getting ready she had her hair and makeup done by Christy Kao. 

Megan’s winter bouquet featured white roses, green leaves, and pinecones, complementing Joseph’s dark green suit. Love Blooms expertly adorned the Edgewater with wreaths and Christmas trees. The emotional first look was filled with laughter and tears. The ceremony, witnessed by family and friends, showcased vibrant blue sapphire rings.

At the reception, Megan and Joseph joyfully marked their union with a first dance. Megan’s second look featured a hand-beaded crop top with cream-colored trousers, accompanied by music from DJ Sounds Unlimited.

Following the dinner catered by The Edgewater Hotel, the couple cut their one-tier cake from The Sweet Side, adorned with a unique kangaroo and koala topper. Other dessert options, including macarons, surrounded the cake.
