We’re very excited to share Kavir and Joshua’s breathtaking Stimson Green Mansion wedding!

Kavir and Joshua tied the knot at the Stimson Green Mansion, a historic landmark in Seattle’s First Hill neighborhood. Completed in 1901, this Gothic mansion boasts an eclectic blend of architectural styles. It’s now managed by the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation. The couple rented this unique venue, known for its moody atmosphere and exclusive catering by Kaspars Catering. With exposed brick walls, polished hardwood floors, and crimson velvet chairs, it provided a stunning backdrop for their special day.

Kavir and Joshua shared a tender kiss before preparing for their wedding. Outside the mansion, they had their first look accompanied by their beloved greyhound. Both looked dashing in blue suits with gold accents, complemented by vibrant purple boutonnieres. Their dog served as the ring bearer during the ceremony, adorned in a fitted tuxedo.

Bridesmaids wore royal purple dresses while groomsmen sported matching ties. The ceremony took place in front of the mansion’s fireplace. It was beneath a chandelier, with greenery and tall candles lining the aisle. The reception offered a variety of drinks and delicious food, including a stunning three-tiered cake topped with a greyhound figurine.

Later in the evening, the grooms changed into emerald green and purple velvet attire for their first dance, which featured large rainbow fans with “Yaaaas Daddy” written on them. Laughter filled the dance floor. Guests enjoyed props like top hats, sunglasses, tiaras, beads, and silly signs from the supplied prop table.

Seattle Bride’s online magazine details wedding costs for the Stimson-Green Mansion. The rental fee ranges from $550 to $2200. Parking for up to 45 vehicles is available for an additional $150. Exclusive caterer, Kaspars Catering & Events, has varying food and beverage minimums: $2500 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, $3000 on Thursdays, and $3500 on Fridays and Saturdays. Wedding menus are available online, including seasonal selections, hors d’oeuvres, small plates, breakfast, and beverage packages.
