The St. Hilary Church wedding perfectly embodied the lovestory of Nadia and Ryan.
This Catholic church is located in Tiburon, California. It is a common destination for weddings due to its elegant, cathedral interior. Hosting your wedding at St. Hilary Church is a perfect way to bring together “old-fashioned tradition and modern elegance”.
We began the day by capturing the couple’s get ready process in the newly-renovated Lodge at Tiburon. They had a fun bridal party to keep them entertained during the makeup, hair, and dress-up! Our professional wedding photographer loves to photograph special moments with those who help bring your big day to life. Nadia looked absolutely stunning! Her hair and makeup artist was Leticia Muller. Leticia has been a hair and makeup artist for over nine years. In 2013, she decided to pursue her dream of making people feel like the best version of themselves. She is a freelance artist based in San Mateo, CA. Leticia says that she feels “extremely happy and fulfilled seeing my clients’ reactions after looking in the mirror. Having the capacity to improve someone’s confidence is priceless.” Check out Leticia’s work on her Instagram account @lemullermakeup.
After the getting ready process, the bride and groom took a gorgeous limo down to the St. Hilary Church for their ceremony. While the couple said their vows and had their first kiss, we enjoyed the breathtaking sight in the church architecture. The wedding portraits were our photographer’s favorite. Nadia’s dress from Rin’s Bridal created the perfect silhouette. Rin’s Bridal did a renovation recently and can’t wait to see all our brides in a new remodeled store! The bride and groom looked absolutely stunning in every pose and portrait location. To end the St. Hilary Church wedding, we had a delicious dinner and celebrated the couple while they danced, cut their cake, and followed along other activities planned by their host. Old Saint Hilary’s Church
This is the old building of St. Hilary church. It currently stands as an iconic hillside landmark. It holds both historical and architectural significance. This 122-acre preserve used to be a mission church named in honor of St. Hilary, Bishop of Poitiers. In 1888, this was the main place of worship for the railroad workers during that time. This historical building is also available to rent for weddings and events. However, do not confuse it with the re-built St. Hilary church at Tiburon.
The Lodge at Tiburon
The Lodge at Tiburon is located close to several gorgeous church venues. If you need a nearby place for an overnight stay, this may be your best pick! The lodge is set in Marin County and combines “rustic charm, upscale comforts, and stately accommodations” for your enjoyment. Here, you can spend the night prior to the wedding with your bridal party, have breakfast, and get ready before you head to your ceremony and reception. Isn’t that convenient?
