We hope you love the natural forest beauty of this Sky Haus in Skykomish wedding as much as we do! Heidi and Miki’s elopement was so dreamy!

Sky Haus in Skykomish is named after the nearby Skykomish River and located a little over an hour east of Seattle. You’ll find this charming A-Frame cabin in the Timberlane Village community, tucked away at the foot of Mt. Baker. Everywhere you look you’ll find a gorgeous backdrop for your celebration. If an intimate gathering is what you’ve been imagining, check out our other elopements!

The bride and groom traveled from Finland for their forest elopement. They requested a shoot that included some hiking and our incredible photographer made that happen! You’ll see highlights of the forest and river that surround this amazing venue. The ceremony was intimate with just an officiant and witnesses, but there’s no shortage of love for the happy couple.

Tye Haus

Another picturesque A-Frame located in the Timberlane Village community is Tye Haus. This cabin is also near to the river for which it’s named. Chances are you’ve already seen this cabin all over your Instagram feed. If you’re looking for a get-away that includes the great outdoors, but somewhere warm and cozy to rest, this definitely fits the bill!

Timberlane Village Skykomish

Timberlane Village is a small community of full and part time residents, as well as vacation rentals. Founded in 1968, this community works hard to maintain its roads and public spaces. All the more reason to keep them in mind for your special event! There’s no shortage of hiking trails (and photo opportunities) in this forest oasis.

Triangle House Washington

If you like the look and feel of an A-Frame cabin, but prefer your views to include the ocean, this might be the perfect location for your elopement! The Triangle House, two hours north of Seattle near Port Townsend, has stunning views of the Pacific Ocean.
