We are thrilled to share Melanie and Jason’s magical Saltwater Farm wedding!

Overlooking the Salish Sea on San Juan Island, Saltwater Farm is a stunning location for your elegant, nature-filled wedding. Their beautiful meadow with mountains and the ocean in the background is the perfect place for your unforgettable ceremony. Your reception in their centrally located, 5,000-square-foot barn with rough-sawn wood paneling will be all your friends can talk about for years to come. You can get ready on-site in one of their many private suites or make a weekend event and invite your closest friends and family to stay. 

Our photographers began their day with this lovely couple by capturing the breathtaking views and precious details of this fairytale wedding. Then, we led Melanie to Jason, who was waiting cliffside. After Melanie carefully approached her groom for their first look, they shared a few sweet moments before heading off to take the rest of their portraits. This gorgeous venue has so many amazing places to capture timeless photographs. We could have stayed here all day. Yet, the guests started arriving, and it was time to say, “I do.” 

Melanie joined Jason under a simple yet exquisite arch with gorgeous floral arrangements in front of their friends and family. Once the couple exchanged rings and shared their first kiss as husband and wife, it was time to celebrate. Everyone welcomed the newlyweds into the barn for a wonderful dinner and night of dancing.

Saltwater Farm Wedding Cost

Saltwater Farm has three wedding packages. They offer a 1-Day Experience, a 3-day Experience, and a 4-Day Experience. All packages include the use of their tables, chairs, DJ speakers, PA equipment, parking for up to 50 vehicles, and end-of-event cleaning. You will have access to their Event Barn for your reception, Ceremony Overlook for your ceremony, and Barn Suite and Shop for separate wedding party prep. If you choose the 1-Day package, you will have access to the Event Barn from 11 am to 11 pm. If you would like to make a weekend of your wedding, there are accommodations for up to 40 people. Saltwater Farms allows your guests to pitch tents on their grounds for those who want to sleep under the stars. Since you can customize each package to make this the day of your dreams, it is best to contact them directly for pricing.

Saltwater Farm by Friday Harbor is a magical location that will make all your dreams come true. Have your ceremony in the sun-kissed meadow, and then celebrate the night under the twinkle lights of the barn. This is the perfect location for those that would like to party into the night or enjoy a long weekend. While their 1-Day Experience ends at 11 pm, their 3 and 4-Day Experiences allow you to mingle as long as your heart desires. Their onsite accommodations, including five separate guest houses and Gathering Space, let you and your guests rest, recover in the sauna and hot tub, and reenergize by the fire pits and wrap around deck with ocean views.
