We had so much fun celebrating Nicole and Blake’s McMenamin’s Edgefield Hotel Wedding!

This venue was built in 1911 as the “county poor farm” in Troutdale, Oregon. Today, it is a historic Pacific Northwest resort that blends a whimsical atmosphere with the natural beauty of the surroundings. While on site, you can explore flower gardens, vines, shrubs, and pool shelters. As a fun activity, you can learn glass blowing and pottery!

The day began with the bride getting her glam on, while the groom put on his suit and had fun with his bridal party. The gardens at McMenamin’s Edgefield Hotel were unimaginably breathtaking! Their wedding portraits looked like a scene from a fairytale movie. Garden scenery always creates a magical background for photos.

Next, we proceeded to photograph the the ceremony. It is important your professional wedding photographer captures your vows, ring exchange, and first kiss. For the reception, the couple decided to hit it off with their first dance! This was such a special moment. The bride did a first dance with her dad as well – which was lively and energetic. Towards the end of the reception, Nicole and Blake cut their delicious wedding cake. Their guests had so much fun celebrating with them. The dance floor was a blast. This McMenamin’s Edgefield Hotel wedding was a huge success, and we are so thankful to have been a part of it.
