We’re very excited to share Pamela and Marcus’ beautiful Jardin del Sol Wedding!

First off, Jardin de Sol is a wedding venue located in Snohomish, WA. Snohomish is about forty-five minutes northeast of Seattle, WA. This romantic garden setting was the perfect backdrop for Pamela and Marcus’ big day! Throughout the property there are many special spots. Interestingly, they even have a three-hole putting green here! 

Initially, the couple got ready in the 1920’s cottage at Jardin del Sol. Inside of the cottage are two ‘get ready’ rooms. Pamela had her hair and makeup done by OffWhite Makeup & Beauty. Her curls were topped with a pearl and gem headband. Additionally, she wore dangling, shimmering earrings. Marcus wore a sophisticated white suit jacket with a black lapel. His pocket square and bowtie were both shades of lilac.

Next up, the couple shared their first look in the garden. Pamela’s bouquet was from The Petal and the Stem. Correspondingly, the floral arrangement featured shades of purple and pink. As expected, their first look was an emotional and memorable moment for them. 

Finally, it was time for their wedding ceremony! The garden features a wooden trellis with sheer white curtains. As the curtains blew in the breeze, Pamela walked on the grassy aisle. As you can see, the aisleway was sprinkled with fresh flower petals. Standing together under the pergola, they shared their vows with each other. All in all, the couple was surrounded by greenery, had beautiful wedding-day weather, and shared their love in front of many family and friends. 

Once they had exchanged rings, the two had a sand pouring ceremony. Together, they mixed white and purple sand in a heart-shaped bottle. Moreover, this created another wedding keepsake for them to treasure.  

Afterwards, Pamela changed into her party dress for their reception. Her second wedding look was a shorter dress with a lace overlay. Their wedding menu was catered by ACT 3 catering. Their reception was full of fun! Markedly, they had a photo booth to enjoy with their guests. Another fun option was a game of cornhole on the lawn. 

Before they cut their cake, Pamela tossed her bridal bouquet. Additionally, Marcus tossed the bride’s garter belt. Then the dancing began! Of note was their three-tiered cake was from The Sweetside. This cake featured white to lilac ombre icing and was decorated with small white flowers. In the end, they had a sparkler sendoff.

In detail, Jardin del Sol has clear pricing on their website. Actually, their rates in 2023 are $6,500 for Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. In 2024, their prices will go up to $7,000 for Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. What’s more, they even keep a running list of available dates on their website! Further, this information makes it very easy and transparent to book Jardin del Sol.

As noted, they offer group tours a few times a month. In fact, you can contact them to book a private tour. Jardin del Sol can accommodate a party of up to two hundred people. Specifically, the venue is available from May to September. A signed rental agreement and a fifty percent deposit will reserve the venue. In total, a rental is for ten hours, and can go as late as eleven at night. Within their pricing is all-inclusive of so many items: tents, tables, chairs, heaters, torches, clear umbrellas, corn hole, and more. Also, they even include day-of parking and venue attendants. 

Machias Meadows

Furthermore, Machias Meadows is another Snohomish, WA wedding venue. Equally, this venue features a lot of designated spaces to choose from. Actually, there is a 3200 square foot pole barn, a 2000 square foot 1906 barn, an 1895 farmhouse, and twenty-nine acres of farmland. Machias Meadows can accommodate up to three hundred guests. Essentially, when you book the property, it is yours from 10am to 11pm. 

Altogether, renting Machias Meadows costs between $6500-7500. Basically, they pay attention to the little details and they even have fire pits. Certainly, something unique to this location is that they are open to trades. While they cannot guarantee a trade, they do propose that you contact them with your suggestion. Further, they have a page dedicated to the details of this venue. Finally, the fifteen reviews on Wedding Wire give Machias Meadows a full five star rating! One of the reviewers loved the little cow and goats located here. Meanwhile, you can see pictures of their farm animals posted on their Facebook page.

Lastly, The Knot is a great site to find wedding venue reviews. In brief, Jardin del Sol has over twenty reviews on The Knot. So it has a 4.7 out of five star review. Significantly, many reviewers rave about the beauty of the garden. Similarly, Jardin del Sol has eleven reviews on Yelp. Thirdly, there are a range of reviews based on individual experiences. Overall, Jardin del Sol maintains a four star rating. Jardin del Sol also has reviews on Facebook. Unquestionably, there are nearly eighty reviews, giving it a total of 4.6 out of five stars. In this case, Here Comes the Guide doesn’t have reviews of the venue. But Here Comes the Guide does give an overview of this wedding spot.
