Lauren and Matthew’s Hotel Sorrento Wedding was full of unforgettable photo-worthy moments. Simply put, this urban Seattle wedding was iconic from start to finish. We can’t wait to share it with you!

Hotel Sorrento is a premier boutique hotel and jewel of Seattle that has spent 111 years creating timeless memories for its guests. The Hotel Sorrento is one of the most elegant and romantic Seattle wedding venues we’ve ever been to. The venue gives you a taste of historic and elegant all in one. The eclectic and impeccable style of the venue is a picturesque canvas for your dream wedding. Lauren and Matthew are a couple with impeccable taste. So, they chose this charming venue, and every detail of their wedding was evidence of it. 

We started the day capturing lovely wedding details and the sweetest getting-ready moments at the hotel. Lauren donned a gorgeous Samila Bridal and Formal wedding gown. The team at Blush Strokes Beauty did her glam makeup and set a pretty headband in her beautiful hair. In addition, Shelly Stock crafted gorgeous bouquets for Lauren and lovely floral detailing on reception tables. Our groom Matthew also looked dapper in a gray suit. Once the couple was ready for the day, we hopped onto the hotel’s rooftop to shoot some portraits. We took full advantage of sweeping rooftop views of the city that are to die for. 

Our wedding photographers incorporated iconic city backdrops into wedding portraits. Besides, we shot some photographs inside the venue and at the beautiful entrance of Hotel Sorrento. The charm and old-school character the venue possesses are amazing. Once we were done with the couple and their wedding party portraits, we moved toward the ceremony spot. Surrounded by their loved ones, Lauren and Matthew said I dos and signed their marriage certificate. Then, it was time for celebration.

Lauren and Matthew’s wedding reception was our favorite part of the day. The decor and venue’s charm made their reception aesthetically iconic and unforgettable. The newlyweds made an incredible entrance to the venue and enjoyed the toasts, speeches, food, and kind wishes from their loved ones. Red’s Kitchen and Catering catered this Hotel Sorrento wedding, and we couldn’t get over the delicious food. After the dinner and speeches, Lauren did a heartfelt dance with her dad, full of love and emotions. Afterward, the newlyweds came to the dancefloor for their romantic first dance. It was so beautiful to watch the couple dancing, laughing all night, and enjoying the company of everyone around them. And our lovely couple closed out the night with a delightful cake from Honey Crumb Cake Studio. 

Last but not least, the big credit goes to their wedding coordinator Tatijana Grove for perfectly planning everything and making this Hotel Sorrento wedding an absolute dream.

Hotel Sorrento Wedding Prices

The rental cost at Hotel Sorrento ranges from $750 to $2,500 for both the ceremony and reception. It includes 12 hours of event time with setup and cleaning time. The food and beverage minimum is also applied to all events. Remember that the wedding price is higher in peak season and on weekends, so the cost varies depending on the month and day of the week. If you want to book the event on the 7th floor, the package price will include five guest rooms. Additionally, event booking of The Penthouse includes three guest rooms along with a $350 minimum bar spend.

According to WeddingWire, the starting ceremony cost at the Hotel Sorrento is $500 in off-peak season and $2,500 in peak season.
