We’re very excited to share Anna and Jason’s lovely The Hall at Fauntleroy Wedding!

First off, Anna and Jason have a rich history. Specifically, these two had been together for ten years leading up to their wedding! Initially, they decided to celebrate their love story by enlisting the help of a wedding planner. Of note, MeLisa VanderVeen is the lead wedding planner and coordinator at Jubilee Weddings and Events. In addition, the pair chose their wedding venue. In detail, the D Squared company operates the The Hall at Fauntleroy. Historically, this venue was a 1900’s schoolhouse!

Next, Anna and Jason picked out their wedding wear. Anna looked stunning in her Blue Sky Bridal wedding gown. Interestingly, this beloved boutique boasts being eco-oriented, making it a popular bridal consignment shop. Correspondingly, Jason chose a bespoke suit. Jason had their wedding date stitched inside his suit jacket. Finally, a bride should get the bridal treatment on her wedding day! Before their ceremony, Anna’s hair was done by Modern Roots Salon of West Seattle. Also, Zo and Co Styling did Anna’s makeup. 

Moreover, every wedding features its own stunning florals. As you can see, Anna had a marvelous bouquet from Twisted Bramble. Further, the Hall at Fauntleroy offers both indoor and outdoor venue options. Together, Anna and Jason decided to do an indoor ceremony and reception. However, we took lots of photos of the newlyweds outside in the yard! 

Later on, when it was time to say “I do” the pair stood in front of a mirrored wall. Leading them down the aisle way were their bridesmaids wearing emerald green dresses and their groomsmen wearing matching bow ties. At last, the bride joined her husband-to-be at their wedding altar and took his hands. After they exchanged their vows and rings, they shared their first kiss as a married couple. In celebration, they joyfully walked down the aisle. 

In the end, they made their way into the reception space. All around them were delicious plates of food my Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes catering. Uniquely, the D Squared company also owns this catering business. As Anna and Jason stood in front of their loved ones for their first dance, their DJ, Digital Hitz, cued up their song!

First of all, West Seattle is home to Seattle’s Alki beach. In fact, weddings happen at Alki beach through Seattle’s Parks and Recreation department. Specifically, the Alki Beach Park Bathhouse Lawn Outdoor event space can be rented for a pretty affordable price. In summary, their price list is available here. Ideally, Alki bathhouse weddings will be modestly sized. Furthermore, it accommodates between 84-100 wedding guests.

IslandWood Wedding Cost

Without doubt, there are many venues in the Seattle area. In particular, IslandWood is located on Bainbridge Island. For this reason, it takes a short, half-hour ferry ride to get to Bainbridge from Seattle. Overall, the private property is a sprawling 250-acres and perfect for a nature enthusiast.
