We’re very excited to share Maria and Ryan’s Golden Gardens Bathhouse wedding!

At the start of their special day, Maria and Ryan arrived at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. This historic church is located in the University District of Seattle, WA and was founded in 1908. As they prepared for their day, Maria had her hair and makeup done by Nicole Grose at Offwhite Makeup. Maria’s gorgeous dress was from the Luce Sposa collection at Christinna’s Bridal. Alongside her dress, Maria wore white ankle boots with a pointed toe. But equally elegant was Ryan’s black tuxedo and bow tie.

In addition to the bride and groom, the bridesmaids were dressed for the occasion as well. The bridesmaids wore forest green dresses. On Maria and Ryan’s wedding day there was a light snow. As the bride approached the church, she layered a cropped white fur jacket over her wedding dress. The couple and their wedding party used clear plastic umbrellas to sheild the snow. Besides her umbrella, Maria also held a white and pink floral bouquet by Floravore

First off, their ceremony began with Maria walking down the aisleway. As she walked down the aisle, her train and veil cascaded behind her. Their ceremony was witnessed by their family and friends. Finally, the couple shared their vows and commitments to one another. They shared a kiss and signed their marriage certificate.

After their ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests headed over to the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle. Their reception was held inside the Golden Gardens Bathhouse. Furthermore, this bathhouse is a City of Seattle indoor venue that is popularly rented for weddings and receptions. Once the wedding party was settled in, everyone enjoyed dinner prepared by Pacific Northwest Catering.

Suprisingly, when they shared their first dance, Ryan picked up Maria and spun her around. Maria wasn’t the only one wearing country-inspired boots! Clad in boots, other loved ones joined Maria on the dance floor for some country line dancing. Thus, the party continued into the evening with even more dancing!

Next up, it was time for Maria and Ryan to cut their three-tiered white wedding cake from Honeycrumb. Amazingly, Honeycrumb creates all of their decorative flowers by hand using sugar! They create the sugar flowers in their Queen Anne studio and strive to keep this art form alive! With their first piece sliced, they fed each other a bite and laughed. Another treat was provided at the dessert table though. The couple included a three-tiered dessert tray of Hershey kisses! One more treat they provided their guests with, was a fun and special wedding day crossword puzzle.

Our team at Sound Originals was honored to be a part of Maria & Ryan’s wedding. Please enjoy their photos!
