We’re very excited to share Maria and Ryan’s Golden Gardens Bathhouse wedding!
At the start of their special day, Maria and Ryan arrived at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Founded in 1908, this historic church graces the University District of Seattle, WA. As they prepared for their day, Maria had her hair and makeup done by Nicole Grose at Offwhite Makeup. Maria’s gorgeous dress was from the Luce Sposa collection at Christinna’s Bridal. Alongside her dress, Maria wore white ankle boots with a pointed toe. But equally elegant was Ryan’s black tuxedo and bow tie.
Clad in forest green, bridesmaids joined Maria, who donned a white fur jacket over her dress, combating light snow with clear umbrellas. Maria carried a white and pink floral bouquet by Floravore. The ceremony commenced with Maria walking down the aisle, exchanging vows, sharing a kiss, and signing the marriage certificate, witnessed by family and friends.
After their ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests headed over to the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle. Holding their reception inside the Golden Gardens Bathhouse, the couple celebrated with friends and family. Moreover, couples often rent this City of Seattle-operated bathhouse for weddings and receptions. Once the wedding party was settled in, everyone enjoyed dinner prepared by Pacific Northwest Catering.
Ryan surprised Maria by lifting and spinning her during their first dance, and guests, also in country-inspired boots, joined for lively line dancing. The celebration continued with a handcrafted three-tiered white wedding cake from Honeycrumb, featuring sugar-made decorative flowers. After a laughter-filled cake-sharing moment, the couple treated guests to a dessert tray of Hershey kisses. A playful wedding crossword puzzle added a fun touch to the festivities.
Being a part of Maria & Ryan’s wedding was truly an honor for our team at Sound Originals. Please enjoy their photos!

However, it has been updated with a heating system making it usable throughout winter.
Golden Gardens Shelter 2
Golden Gardens is a public park in Seattle, WA. Included in the park are wetlands, beaches, hiking trails, and playgrounds. Of note are the picnic areas at Golden Gardens. The City of Seattle accepts picnic applications on a first-come-first-served basis. Obviously, that means that you need to plan in advance if you want to land a booked picnic area or picnic shelter.
