The venue is a beautiful rustic cabin ideal for rehearsals, weddings and receptions. Evergreen Lake House is available for private and public events which makes it popular.

Marc and Mayarak met in a bar, where Mayarak complimented Marc’s tattoo and boom! It turned into a forever affair. They are left in awe of their love story.

Transitioning to the wedding details, the couple enlisted the expertise of wedding planner, Marc Richardson. With his articulate nature, he ensured every detail was noted and he birthed nothing but a flawless event.

Catering was handled by TBD foods/TBD Events and the team ensured that only yummy and quality meals were brought to the table. Desserts and cake were handled by Gateaux pastries while Poppy Flowers was the florist.

N/A was in charge of DJ/Band, invitationhair and makeup. The brand ensured that every touch from them beamed excellence. Tiffany Rose took care of the dress and ensured every piece of clothing fitted with radiant beauty.

Evergreen Lake Fishing

Evergreen Lake offers a wide range of fishing challenges, and it includes, small mouth bass, large mouth bass, crappie, hybrid walleye (saugeye), white bass, muskie, bluegill, flat head catfish, channel catfish. This lake is a 10 hp limit lake, with surface acres of 925, maximum depth of 55 feet, average depth of 19 feet and shoreline miles of 22.5 miles. In alignment with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, the McLean County Department of Parks and Recreation has stipulated and implemented an ongoing, long-term fishery management plan for Evergreen Lake and about 1,000 8-11 inch pure musky and 50,0000 – 75,000 1-2 inch hybrid walleye (saugeye) are stocked in the lake annually. Wadding, float fishing and swimming are prohibited. It is a must to have a Colorado fishing licence before you are allowed to fish in Evergreen Lake.

Evergreen Lake Parking

The Evergreen Lake and Trail makeup Dedisse Park, owned by the City and County of Denver and is managed by the Evergreen Park & Recreation District. Entering the park and lake area is at your risk because ice and lake conditions are subject to change. There are three major areas to park at Evergreen lake, all the three are free. The main parking spot is at the lake house off of Upper Bear Creek Rd. Evergreen Lake House could be entered into your favourite navigational device. This lot can contain 60 cars and has access to indoor bathrooms during certain hours. Cars are parked at the lake house for anyone who would want to rent boats or skates during the winter but if you want to park elsewhere, there is a small lot at the north side of the lake that can fit about 10-15 cars on Colorado 74.
