You can’t find a more gorgeous place to get married than an Edmonds Waterfront wedding! Sitting steps away from the Puget Sound it is a magical venue. The Edmonds Waterfront Center was the perfect setting for Cassandra & Peter. Although the weather was a bit rainy we still loved capturing their beautiful day. The bride looked beautiful in her white gown from Brides for a Cause. Brides for a Cause is more than a bridal store – it’s a bridal store that raises funds for charity! Their mission is to collect and resell donated wedding dresses to raise funds for women’s causes!

The couple chose this venue for it’s epic views through large glass windows. They had their first look in front of the beautiful water. Cassandra tapped Peter on the shoulder and when he turned his smile was perfect. The couple has been together for over 10 years and this wedding was an honor for us to be a part of. In front of a beautiful alter of flowers by Flora d’ Amore the couple read handwritten vows through tears. Peter said it best – “As long as we’re together everything will be perfect.” After the couple said “I do” we went outside to take photos by the water. With large bubbles floating by we took some amazing images for them.

Once back inside the party started with the DJ from Sounds Unlimited getting everyone dancing. There was plenty of dancing and amazing food by Shooby Doo Catering. As a result everyone had a great time and ate well! They also had a beautiful cake served on a cut tree round which was delicious! The Edmonds Waterfront Center truly was a great setting for this event! Not only did Sound Originals provide photography for the wedding but we also did video. We love when we are asked to do this. It is a great way to capture the full day for the couple. It’s a great way for couples to share a few minutes from the entire day!

The Edmonds waterfront is a great area. Home to the areas creative district there is plenty to do. With plenty of destination restaurants and shopping people find something for everyone. Visit Edmonds has a great website showcasing this special area. There is a calendar of events which shows all of the upcoming fun. On the Third Thursday of every month there is an Art Walk. This happens year round. In August they host the Taste of Edmonds which is the third largest festival in the state of Washington and among the “Top 100 North American Festivals”. As a result many people come to experience this.

The Edmonds Waterfront Center is a great place for events. With ample space you can hold many types of events here. Located directly on the water in Edmonds makes it a great location. They have event packages available starting at $1500. They have banquet rooms with great views. You can also have a ceremony outside. The location is great and overlooking the beach. They also have complete food and beverage service. Shoobydoo Catering has delicious catering options available for your event. There is a great downtown area within walking distance. This make this event center a perfect location. The Edmonds Waterfront Event center is directly on the Puget Sound. There is even a ferry dock right outside. It is the Edmonds-Kingston ferry which takes guests to the Olympic Peninsula.

Many couples choose to have a yacht club wedding. In Edmonds there is a great venue. Wedding Spot has created a page that talks about this venue. You can find out information regarding pricing and what is included. The venue can accommodates up to 220 guests. The venue is a private club on the water. They have indoor and outdoor available for ceremonies and receptions. The location is right in the heart of the Puget Sound area. The rental fee ranges from $1,600 to $2,950 for a ceremony and reception. This includes 12 hours of event time. A refundable security deposit of $250 is required. Edmonds Community Center Wedding

There are many options when choosing a wedding venue. Many couples tell us that they have a budget to work with. Sometimes this budget not very large. Other times it is about the capacity that a venue can hold. Edmonds Community Center is an affordable venue for your wedding. It is also in a great location on the beautiful Puget Sound. They have rooms that can accommodate group sizes from 10 – 300 people based on the type of event. Their food service partner is Shooby Doo Catering. The booking for the event spaces is first come, first served. Groups larger than 50 using any second-floor meeting space must purchase food through Shooby Doo Catering. The venue rental of all Edmonds Waterfront Center rooms include use of tables and chairs. As a result the venue has great amenities for your events.
