We’re very excited to share Megan and Joseph’s chic Edgewater Hotel Wedding!

First off, the Edgewater hotel is a stunning venue for weddings and receptions. Additionally, the Edgewater is the only over-water hotel in Seattle. Specifically, this hotel received a Travel & Leisure “World’s Best Award” in 2022. In detail, Megan and Joseph worked with their wedding planner, Emily Olsoy, to achieve their dream wedding. Moreover, Emily Olsoy works for the company, Your Perfect Bridesmaid. 

Initially, Megan and Joseph sent out invitations from Minted. Next up, was the hunt for the perfect wedding dress. Finally, Megan found her perfect wedding gown at Blue Sky Bridal. Interestingly, Blue Sky Bridal is an eco-boutique in Seattle that offers new, sample, and consigned wedding dresses. In addition, Megan’s dress had a plunging neckline, a lacey bodice, and the lace design trickled down the flowing tulle. Furthermore, while Megan was getting ready she had her hair and makeup done by Christy Kao. 

Also, Megan has a bouquet of blooming white roses, green leaves, and pinecones. Correspondingly, Joseph wore a dark green suit with a tartan vest underneath. Since this was a winter wedding, Joseph’s boutonniere had a large white rose and a small pinecone. During their first-look before the ceremony, these two shared an emotional moment. Together they laughed and cried. 

Next up, it was time for Megan and Joseph’s winter wedding ceremony. As you can see, the Edgewater was decorated with wreaths, Christmas trees, and fresh garland. Megan and Joseph’s incredible floral design was expertly handled by Love Blooms. In front of their family and friends, these two shared their vows and were wed. Simultaneously, they exchanged rings. Identically, their rings both had vibrant blue sapphires. 

Moving on, the next vignette was the reception. In particular, Megan and Joseph made their insurance as newlyweds and shared their first dance. Of note, was Megan’s second wedding day look. Megan wore a hand-beaded crop top with beautiful cream-colored trousers. While they danced, their music was DJ’d by Sounds Unlimited. 

Thirdly, the couple and their guests dined on a robust dinner spread catered by the Edgewater Hotel. Afterwards, it was time for the happy couple to cut their cake together. Markedly, their one tier white iced cake was from The Sweet Side. Atop their cake was a special topper featuring a kangaroo and a koala. Surrounding their cake were other dessert options, like macarons.
