Come celebrate Rebecca and Danny’s romantic Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden Wedding! Located less than 30 minutes from the Portland airport, the internationally recognized Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden is the perfect place to host your outdoor wedding.  This unique nine-acre garden is home to rare species and hybrid rhododendrons, azaleas, lesser-known shrubs, and unusual trees.  Three waterfalls and a spring-fed lake surrounding the garden provide the perfect tranquil environment to say, “I do.”  Three sites are available for your dream wedding: The Meadow, The Woodland, and The Jane Martin.  All three locations have dramatically different yet equally as stunning backdrops.  

Sound Originals was so excited to photograph Rebecca and Danny throughout the beautiful garden.  The lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and fairytale bridges naturally highlighted the couple’s effortless beauty. Their ceremony took place at The Jane Martin site, on a small patio, with a cascading waterfall in the background.  Rebecca and Danny took part in the Celtic tradition of a Handfasting Ceremony.  They tied three ropes together, representing the two families welcoming each other and the couple forming a new family of their own.  To end the celebrations, everyone enjoyed an intimate dinner together.

Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden Wedding Cost

Rental fees for Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden weddings range from $1,000 to $5,000, plus a refundable deposit. Cost depends on which site you choose, what day of the week you get married, and if your wedding takes place during peak season.  Rental times and windows vary by location. To hold your ceremony and reception without stressing about time, rent The Meadow for 10 hours from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm. If you need less set-up time, rent The Woodland for up to 6 hours between 10:00 am and 10:00 pm. Finally, for a garden ceremony only, rent The Jane Martin for up to 2 hours between 10:00 am and 9:00 pm.

50% of your site fee and refundable deposit are due upon reservation. A 3% fee is charged to those paying by credit card to cover processing costs. The final half of your payment is due 60 days prior to your event. Extra fees and fines can be assessed for a variety of reasons. These include guests or caterers in the garden after 10:00pm, damages, garbage left on site, or if your guest count is outside 10% of your reserved count.  Contact Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden to inquire about the cost of your wedding. 

Leach Botanical Garden Wedding Cost

A wedding at Leach Botanical Garden will cost between $3,200-$6,900. They have three packages to choose from. The Ceremony Only venue fee is $3,200. This includes access to the Manor House, East Terrace, Upper Arbor, and tables and chairs. Available Sunday-Friday, this package has a four-hour limit. The Private Celebration fee is $4,800 with a 6-hour limit. This gives you access to everything in the Ceremony Only option, plus market lighting. The most inclusive package is the Ceremony and Reception at $6,900. This package is the same as the Private Celebration, except you can access the venue for 8 hours. Friends of Crystal Springs Rhododendron

Friends of Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden is an annual pass to the garden. You will receive access to Friends-only garden hours, a 10% discount on merchandise at the gatehouse, early access to plant sales and shows, and priority signups and discounts for events and workshops. You can purchase an individual pass, household pass, or steward pass. Each pass gives you and one, three, or five friends access to the garden each visit.
