We’re very excited to share Holly and Buddy’s rustic Courter Country Farm Wedding!

Holly and Buddy selected Courter County Farm in Poulsbo, WA, just a 90-minute drive from Seattle, WA, on the Kitsap Peninsula. Cassandra O’Dea coordinated their wedding day, with floral arrangements from Bloomin Pam in Port Orchard, WA.

Holly’s makeup was by Maddie, and Kylie from Gene Juarez Salon & Spa styled her hair. She wore a wedding dress with lace sleeves and a lace cutout bodice, along with white Dr. Marten boots. Buddy donned a black suit, and both carried white rose bouquets.

They proceeded to the wooden pergola for the ceremony, where an officiant in a long red velvet cape awaited. Buddy stood at the altar, accompanied by groomsmen who tossed flower petals down the aisle. Holly then walked down the grassy aisle to join him. During the vows, guests learned of the couple’s long-distance romance. They exchanged rings, kissed as newlyweds, and exited amid a shower of rice.

The reception tent boasted shades of emerald green, black, and burnt orange decor. A pre-recorded toast from the actor who plays Kevin in The Office added a special touch. Guests enjoyed BBQ catering by Raymond Idell of Bubba’s Country Cue and cake by Sierra. Their first dance followed, with music by DJ Matrix. As the party concluded, they departed amidst another shower of rice, driving away in their truck into the night.

Courter Country Farm Wedding Photos 

Courter Country Farm Airbnb

Interestingly, the Courter Country Farm has its very own Airbnb rental. Within the private, upper floor of the farm house, a couple can stay here for their wedding weekend. Another special feature is that this property has alpacas, bunnies, and goats on the farm. Of note, is the low price of this Airbnb– at only $75 per night! 

Incredibly, you can also stay in an all glass greenhouse on Courter Country Farm! As expected, sleeping in a glass greenhouse is a great way to stargaze. This listing can be found on Airbnb. Make note that the greenhouse has an outdoor bathroom. Outside of a stay on the farm, you can get a taste of what life is like on the farm through their Instagram page. 

Wedding Venues in Kitsap County

Within Kitsap County is a town called Bremerton. Throughout Bremerton there are a few wedding venues to choose from. Two of these venues have 4.9 and 5 star ratings: the Kitsap Conference Center and the Gold Mountain Golf Club! Another town to checkout is Silverdale, WA. The Knot is a great site to see a compiled list of venues and compare important factors like cost and capacity. 

Additionally, Eventective put together a list of venues for couples to choose from. Of note, you could get married in an art museum or a brewery! Another site, Visit Kitsap Peninsula, is a partner of the South Sound Wedding and Event Magazine. Excitingly, there are a lot of wedding venues to choose from. The hardest part is choosing just one!
