We’re very excited to share Laura and Andrew’s urban City Farm – Chehalis Wedding!

First off, the couple had to choose their wedding day venue. City Fam – Chehalis is located about an hour and a half South of Seattle. Specifically, this venue is nestled halfway between Seattle and Portland. Together, that makes it a perfect Pacific Northwest wedding venue destination. Correspondingly, Laura and Andrew hired Ashlie Smith as their wedding planner. Indeed, Ashlie and her team ensured that all of the design and details of their wedding were perfectly executed. 

Interestingly, the City Farm – Chehalis venue is a historic building that was founded in 1924. Originally, the space was a theater. Throughout the space there are vintage chandeliers, artifacts, and art work. Even more, while getting ready the groom and his groomsmen played darts and shuffleboard. 

In celebration, the bride shared a toast with her friends. In preparation, Laura’s hair was done beautifully by Leah Albo of ZO & Co Styling. Markedly, her glam makeup look was done by Seattle makeup artist, Kat Neal. Once her hair and makeup looks were completed, the bride slipped into her wedding dress. Specifically, Laura’s dress was a sophisticated Sarah Seven gown from The Dress Theory shop in Seattle. 

After the couple had finished getting ready, it was time to make their way to their wedding altar. Firstoff, Andrew walked down the aisle. Next, the young ring bearer and flower girl followed. And finally, Laura made her way down the candle lined aisleway. The pair smiled as they read their wedding vows and exchanged rings. Then, Andrew dipped Laura back into a kiss. 

Together, the newlyweds made their way to the reception. Andrew was twirling Laura as they made their entrance. The wedding guests dined together on delicious food provided by Occasions Catering of Olympia. Throughout dinner there were many speeches and toasts.

Next up, Andrew and Laura shared their first dance together. The live music of the Blue Wave Band got everyone dancing! Not to mention, towards the end of the night Little Caesars pizza was delivered. Now that’s a late night snack!

In particular, there is a mix of both indoor and outdoor wedding venues. Another feature of this list, is a button to request pricing from any of these venues. 

Similarly, The Knot has a list of Chehalis, WA wedding venues. However, this list has one hundred and nineteen venues! Such an extensive list gives couples a lot to choose from. At a glance, you can see what the rating is of each venue, as well as the capacity of each venue. 

Sunshine Hill Farm

The Orchard at Sunrise Hill is a wedding venue located in Chehalis, WA as well. Given that this venue is on a forty acre farm, it is best suited for a couple who want outdoor elements. Of note, this farm has views of Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Adams.

All things considered, a special feature of The Orchard at Sunrise Hill is all of the amenities included in the price. Some of these amenities are use of the property for an engagement photo shoot, chairs, table, and set up, lighting, a sound system for the couple’s music, updated ADA restrooms, a massive fire pit, and rehearsal time. Also, they allow up to 250 guests and won’t charge extra if you have more than your initial guest count. (As long as it’s 250 or less total guests.) Finally, the venue can approve pets to be a part of a couple’s ceremony.
