We are excited to share Amy and Charlie’s Block 41 wedding! Located in the Belltown neighborhood of Downtown Seattle, Block 41 is the perfect industrial chic venue for your wedding! Their Bert and Tot Ballroom boasts 14-foot ceilings with room for 350 guests. Its oak floors, brick and concrete walls, blackened steel, and old-growth timber make it the ideal neutral background for creating the day of your dreams. It also connects to their Courtyard making it the perfect indoor-outdoor space. Their lower level is home to The Ewing Theater. Equipped with an expandable DMX control lighting system and state-of-the-art AV equipment, you can turn this space into a trendy nightclub to dance the night away. It is also home to the Green Room, which is the perfect bridal suite, complete with a shower, sink, and vanity. Both levels have prep kitchens and bathrooms to make your day seamless.

Our photographers started the day by capturing all the special details of this stunning wedding. The gorgeous floral arrangements by Poppy and Pomegranate and the beautifully designed cake by Delicately Sweet Confections perfectly highlighted the couple’s elegant yet fun style. Then, we caught up with Amy as K&D Beauty finished her stunning hair and makeup. After slipping into her exquisite Aisle and Veil dress, we captured the picture-perfect couple as they posed for their playful portraits. Next, it was time to say, “I do.”

Amy and Charlie participated in communion and a handfasting ceremony before exchanging rings in front of their gleeful guests. Once they shared their first kiss as husband and wife, it was time for the reception. Everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner by Steele Barrel BBQ before DJ Q-Tip got everyone up and dancing. Melissa Pelletier at Jubilee Weddings and Events did a phenomenal job helping the couple plan this fabulous wedding. Everything flowed flawlessly from the moment the vendors arrived to the couple’s glow light send-off.

Block 41 Wedding Photos

Block 41 Parking

There are four paid parking lots within a one-minute walk of Block 41. Also, you can find two-hour and four-hour paid street parking within a three-block radius. These spots are free from 8pm-6am. You will need to use the PaybyPhone app to pay for your initial parking and to extend your time if necessary and available. It would be best to download this app and set up your account before heading to the venue. If you prefer to skip parking, Uber and Lyft are great rideshares that conveniently run near Block 41.  

Hotels Near Block 41

Block 41 has taken the guesswork out of finding accommodations for you and your guests. They have partnered with five different hotels, all less than a mile from the venue. The Kimpton Palladian, Thompson Seattle, Charter Hotel Seattle, The Edgewater Hotel, and The Sound Hotel all offer discounted pricing and hotel blocks for those with an event at Block 41. These hotels are also conveniently located near Pike Place Market and the waterfront. You and your guests will have plenty of things to do while in town.
