We loved capturing this Washington Park Portland Engagement.

If you are not local to Portland, Washington Park could still be a great option for your engagement photos. This is a perfect earthy and intimate setting to celebrate your love story. The park offers a variety of trails, bridges, and greenery for photos. We began the shoot at the park entrance, where we got to shoot casual pictures on the walkway. We explored one of the trails and went over to a grassy field under the tall evergreen trees. The couple had a lot of fun taking these photos! We even captured one photo of a piggy back ride. This is a very amusing pose you must ask your professional photographer about! We got a few candid, walking shots and settled at the edge of a walkway for cute sitting down shots. Make sure you remind your professional photographer to capture your engagement rings! The couple laid their hands on top of one another to show off the gorgeous diamond. This was a beautiful rustic engagement session.

Not planning your engagement but want to celebrate at a Washington Park Portland Picnic? This is a great spot to go with. You can make a Picnic Reservation in advance at the Portland.gov website. There are over 200 parks available to choose from. Certain parks require a special picnic permit. However, Washington Park is an exception.
