For those unfamiliar with the location, Rattlesnake Lake is conveniently situated off Exit 32 on Interstate 90 and is managed by Seattle Public Utilities. However, Rattlesnake Lake itself is not part of the water supply. The lake is only about 20 feet deep. The shoreline also fluctuates during different seasons. That’s why you can sometimes walk out to the tree stumps. But sometimes, a few feet of water cover them. As a result, you’re engagement photos at Rattlesnake Lake will always be a bit unpredictable.
