Danielle and Nixon chose an Espresso Chalet in Index, a unique and breathtaking location for their engagement shoot. Espresso Chalet is a lovely coffee spot in Index, WA, that features gorgeous mountainous waterfall views. This cute roadside coffee stand sits on Highway 2. From the chalet, you can enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Index and see its snow slide into the lake serene and Bridal Veil Falls making its way to Skykomish River below. When you reach the location, you’re greeted by a giant Sasquatch. In addition to lovely coffee and sweet treats, its back deck offers mesmerizing views that will take your breath away.

On a beautiful morning of their engagement day, Danielle and Nixon got their coffees from Espresso Chalet and sat on its observation deck, which has one of the most beautiful views. We started capturing their engagement session from there. The deck overlooks the Mt. Index area, and the views are unbelievable. Danielle wore a pretty flowing dress. Next up, Nixon wore a white sweatshirt and brown jacket with jeans. They look adorable together against the backdrops, and their outfits match the details of their engagement photoshoot location. We encourage our couples to try multiple looks for their engagement photo session. Danielle and Nixon also had two looks. For their second look, Danielle wore a tan brown shirt and a long grayish coat. Nixon wore a black and forest green check shirt along with black jeans. 

We captured tons of romantic portraits against magical backdrops of mountains, pine trees, and along the Skykomish River. Danielle and Nixon shared many smiles, kisses, and embraces during their photoshoot. We had the best time with these beauties at such a stunning location. The location, details, views, and love birds-everything was jaw-dropping. This gorgeous location has become one of our favorite locations for engagement photoshoots in Washington.
